Econometric analysis of factors affecting abroad based on quantile estimates

This paper which use quantile regression, Least-squares regression examines the influence of the exchange rate, Family per capita income index, the number of student studying abroad last year and the registered urban unemployment rate on the number of student studying abroad (1985-2014) based on Multiple linear quantile regression model. The results show that quantile regression in this condition of data more accurately reflect the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variables than Least-squares regression by comparing parameter estimation results of the two methods.
