Abstract :
Selective automatic control system of horizontally oriented rotor position in elastic supports is considered. Simulation results of system operation with a wide range of rotation speed and in the different modes - smooth start, normal operation mode, external and internal (vibration) disturbances, rotor overrun, emergency stop - are presented. Advantages of a selective approach to control of non-linear object ≪electromagnet-rotor≫ are justified. In conclusion robust features of designed control algorithm are proved.
