Abstract
In this paper, an application of adaptive network fuzzy interference system classifier on EEG-SSVEP extraction for controlling an electronic wheelchair is proposed. In the experiment, four subjects with age about 25±1 years were tested. The experimental results reported in this work show that the implementation of the proposed method achieves a very significant statistical improvement in term of extracting the peak amplitude features. After a short practice time, most participants could learn to extract the EEG-SSVEP wave with greater than 80% accuracy.
