Abstract :
In this paper, a brief review of the computational intelligence and data mining methods utilized in industrial Internet-of-Things experiments is presented. Although the exploitation of data mining and other computational intelligence technologies in Internet-of-Things applications is still in its infancy, some early real-world deployments and testbed cases are noted and investigated, taking into account both the intra-cognitive and inter-cognitive communication aspects. The current and future role and impact of the Internet-of-Things on aspects of data analysis and cognitive infocommunication are also analyzed and discussed.
