Abstract :
We propose a test pattern generator and test patterns for the purpose of the 4K UHD(Ultra High Definition) video monitor evaluation. The design goal of test pattern is based on the characteristic differences such as resolution, color gamut, and frame rates, between HD display and 4K UHD display. Compared with the previous pattern generators, the proposed one based on PC and Windows OS has advantages in flexibility and extensibility in terms of installation and updates through the web server.
