Abstract :
Currently hypertension is considered the most important risk factor for cardiovascular diseases, the relationship between BP and risk of cardiovascular events is continuous, consistent and independent of other risk factors. In the absence of hemodynamic information, the clinician is unable to appreciate the lack of response to treatment in terms of patient compliance. Hemodynamic treatment of hypertension involves manipulating hemodynamic modulators whose deviations are identified by HOTMAN system that uses electrical bioimpedance method (BET).
