Abstract :
A new approach with aluminum nitride (AlN) based parasitic strip wideband patch antenna has been introduced for 2.5 and 5.8 GHz wireless applications. The novelty of the proposed design is inherited in reduction of edges of patch which influences antenna performance. The impedance bandwidth of the antenna is 0.28 GHz for the first resonance, whereas 2.04 GHz for the second resonance with an antenna radiation efficiency of 89.6% and 95.32%, respectively.
