  • Abstract
This article presents selected results of 6/4 switched reluctance motor analysis with an asymmetric magnetic circuit of stator. The designed motor is dedicated for multifunction drive of a food processor. In the designed motor one of the phases has modified magnetic and electric parameters. The influence of stator magnetic circuit asymmetry is presented on the example of static characteristics (electromagnetic torque and self-inductance) of two phases of the motor. Waveforms of phase currents, flux-linkages and electromagnetic torque are determined based on the field-circuit model and by using the classical symmetric control method. In laboratory conditions static characteristics are determined. Waveforms of phase currents in different working points of the motor are determined. The relationship of output power, efficiency and rms values of currents in the function of rotor speed are determined for selected control parameters. The research results of constructions with an asymmetric magnetic circuit of stator are related to a commutator motor.
