  • Abstract
    This article discusses our recent cooperative spectrum sharing method, known as in-quadrature-phase based cooperative spectrum sharing (IQ-CSS). The application of IQCSS in this system configuration with multiple relay nodes still attains the important advantages. The primary interference constraint for combating with the problem of mutual interference is not necessary in IQ-CSS. The exploitation of spatial diversity is valid for both the primary user and secondary user systems. IQ-CSS further provides a flexible approach to control the degree of the spatial diversity as a result of adjusting the power of the secondary signal. Theoretic outage performances are analyzed and well-matched with the simulation results.
