Abstract :
Analytics discovers meaningful Inferences from data. Learning Analytics is the discovery of Actionable Intelligence from Educational data. Course Analytics is one of the key Research area in Learning Analytics. In this paper Exploratory Data Analysis Techniques, Visualization and Summarization are applied on Learning content i.e. Courses and drawn various valid inferences and discusses Course related problems like Course Prerequisites, Course Interrelation, Course Scheduling, Course Dropout etc. This paper uses Lorenz curve, which is a Visualization method to know the dispersion among the components and Gini Index which Summarizes the Lorenz curve.
