Abstract
In this paper, we compare the use of argument structure in Chinese verb sense taxonomy (CVT), which is a hierarchy structure constituted by verb lexical classes, and Chinese Propbank (CPB). The major difference of the usage of argument structure between these two independent resources is: CVT uses argument structure to cluster verb senses, while CPB uses it to distinguish verb senses from each other. First, we introduce these two language resources, the use of argument structure in them is then presented and discussed. In the end, we find there is way to link these two independent resources.
