Abstract :
CNG storage well, long term exposed under effects of sulfur element and underground water, corrodes and thins. To solve this problem, a Gas well NDT system is proposed based on ultrasonic testing. The system mainly includes ultrasonic signal collection and data analysis and display. It utilizes the rotating reflection structure to reflect ultrasound and achieves full coverage downhole detection. The system solves deep underground detection issues after overcome of various difficulties. And it uses cable to fulfill large amount, high speed data transmission. Take a standard sample pipe as the testing object, the testing results show: the design of gas well corrosion detection system can judge the corrosion storage well situation and have advantages like good detection depth, good repeatability, stability and reliability.
