Abstract :
This talk presents a lazy and easy way to prepare technical papers targeting at novices such as entry-level engineers and students. A good logic is a key to good technical writing, however, it is not easy for unexperienced authors to establish. As a solution, ?Slides First? is proposed and explained in details with examples. Then, elements of a paper are explained one after another using examples and templates which can be applied in the actual drafting process. One of the most useful templates is a ?Three-Sentence Introduction? which is a useful tool for writing an Introduction of a short paper such as a single-page paper. To help develop a better understanding of the principles, an example of Introduction is provided and used as a class exercise material.
