  • Abstract
    We propose a novel method for super-resolution utilizing partial differential equations. Our system does not use convergence calculations or feedback processing, thus it will almost certainly prove possible to process moving pictures in real-time by implementation on FPGAs or ASICs. In addition, our method produces a natural sharp edge while controlling the flicker that occurs during video viewing. Thus, our method is suitable for playing low-resolution video on 4K HD or 8K UHD television.
