Abstract :
A retinal scanning display based on holographic waveguide is presented to improve the augmented reality capability of virtual display effectively. Simulated results show the system can image at wavelengths of 465nm and 620nm with high quality near to diffraction limit and has better achromatic performance. The FOV is up to 21° and the weight is about 27g. This system is interesting and may be useful in practical applications.
