Abstract
How to inject test packets in a normal wireless communication without causing protocol collapse is difficult in wireless protocol security penetrating test. This paper proposed a time selection method. It presented a step-by-step injection technology process and provided parameters of successful injection from the physical layer to the application layer firstly. Then it compared the boundary time of packets inject and normal packets for selecting injection time correctly in both collision detection and no collision detection mechanisms, and analyzed impact of signal power and transmission rate. The experimental results show that when correct injection time is chosen, higher signal power gain and lower transmission rate are required to ensure a successful injection.
