  • Abstract
With the popularity of network equipment, existing infrastructure network has been unable to meet the current demands on the network and standard high-speed link has been popular in the backbone network. Therefore, it put forward higher requirements for high-performance network. In addition, using reliable tools to generate high speed traffic loads has become the key task of high performance network evaluation. Generating realistic network packets plays an important role in verifying functionality and correctness of network equipment (such as router, switch etc). Reproducible mechanism of packet generator on NetFPGA platform has been implemented. Furthermore it solved software-based packet generator for CPU dependent and was not wire -speed contract issues. However, most of the PCAP file sent in previously was written by Scapy which contained only a packet in each file. This paper presented a method of replaying multiple packets with variable traffic and packet size in each queue and achieved a mechanism of rate adjustable.
