Abstract
An immune system is a collection of cells and molecules that can respond and generate resistance to disease, especially infectious disease. By enhancing a patient´s immune system to augment conventional therapies is a clinical practice for long time. As there are a lot of clues that tumour can be influenced by immune system, in this paper we have developed a partial different equations (PDEs) model of tumour-induced angiogenesis with tumour cytotoxic immune factor delivered through the vessels formed. The model describes four variables, including endothelial cells (ECs), tumour, vessel and cytotoxic factor. The simulation results show that a big tumour can be regressed and recurred by the immune factor, and a small tumour can be eliminated completely by only enhancing the immune factor.
