Exploring the virtual reference service based on Web 3.0 environments in the library

The Reference service is a key professional work in modern library. With the development of modern communication technology and computer technology in the library, the reference service has been developed from the traditional stage to virtual one. There still exist lots of problems in the virtual reference service based on Web 2.0 at present, but the launch of the Web3.0 provides an opportunity to reform the content and service mode of the virtual reference service. The virtual reference service based on Web3.0 environment of the library should be fully changed in such four aspects as providing intelligent and personalized information retrieval service, diversifying the communication on the virtual reference service, standardizing the virtual reference service and changing the identity from Virtual reference librarians to the subject and management librarians.
