Abstract
This paper studies the stability analysis problem of continuous time linear systems with time varying delay using the input-output approach. Based on the scaled small gain (SSG) theorem and the slack variables, an important stability analysis criterion is developed. The resulting less conservative analysis conditions are formulated in terms of LMIs to be easily solved using convex optimization techniques. Finally, numerical examples are given to demonstrate the advantages of the proposed method in terms of conservatism reduction.
