Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the problem of robust discrete-time sliding-mode control for a class of uncertain descriptor systems with time-varying delay and external disturbance. A new sliding function is proposed and sufficient conditions are derived to guarantee that the sliding mode dynamics is robustly admissible. Moreover, a quasi-sliding mode controller is established to satisfy the reaching condition. The developed results are tested on a representative example to illustrate the theoretical developments.
