Abstract
Ontology is a component of Semantic Web. Ontology can be built from scratch (manually), semi-automatic or automatic. Manually developed ontology usually gain knowledge from domain experts. Then the knowledge is transform into ontology by ontology engineers. Since it is been done manually, the process can contain human mistake. Therefore the manual ontology needs to undergo validation process. In this paper, we are going to present validations technique on durian ontology also called DuriO. DuriO has been built priory using Modified Methodology. The validation technique use feature-based approach on competency questions and Agrovoc alignment. As the result, DuriO are able to answer all competency questions. Meanwhile in Agrovoc concept alignment validation, only match 10.34% from DuriO class to Agrovoc concept.
