Abstract :
This article presents a method for the detection of pesticides in fruit produced for export by a low-cost electronic nose. The samples were acquired through a matrix of 16 metal oxide gas sensors, with the aim of determining the presence of organochlorine compounds. The results showed that it is possible to implement an artificial sensory system, which allows to detect very fast and discriminate differentiate chemical compounds that are harmful to health.
