Abstract :
In the present article, it is presented the obtained results in the design and implementation of an electronic system for the detection of volcanic ashes, directed towards the farming´s protection as a resource to mitigate the effects the fall of volcanic ashes cause. This system was developed from a pH probe to determine the levels of hydrogen potential of the volcanic ashes in a reference way (buffer). This probe is designed to work directly with an arduino card which allows the hardware programming in accordance with the pH values previously determined, activating protection methods for farming with sprinklers to clean the sheets and invigorate the food conduction inside the plant and thus, it could be able to realize the photosynthesis process.
