Abstract :
In order to improve the efficiency and reliability of the phase conversion process of three-phase current source rectifier (CSR), in this paper, the traditional space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) strategy of the six sectors for three-phase CSR is changed into a novel SVPWM strategy of the twelve sectors. And by changing the synthesis sequence of effective vector, the power tube which is not in the natural commutation state is made to be do it. Moreover, zero-current switching can be achieved, thus switch loss and voltage stress can be decreased. The proposed space vector modulation technology achieves the expected goals. The simulation and selected experimental results are reported in order to validate the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
