Abstract
The loose particle, especially metal particle left inside the sealed electronic devices brings great harm to reliability of the whole system. The Particle Impact Noise Detection (PIND) is an effect way to measure the size of loose particles. In this paper, a model of metal-particle sizing has been presented. Experimental results show that the curve tendency of the model theoretical values is very close to that of the measured values. Thus the result of particle sizing can be given to some extent with the help of this method.
