Abstract :
The optical tomography system based on the single pixel detector produces the high resolution image with optical scanning. This paper introduces a method to evaluate the quality of the optical tomography system with MTF (Modulation Transfer Function). At first use the calibration board that are digital images for software simulation, and then calculate the MTF values on the different space frequency in order to analyze the change of MTF and the reasons of image degradation. Followed by using the integrating sphere light source and film calibration boards in experiments, it tests the quality of the tomography imaging system and the validation of imaging properties. The system produces the images with Filter Back Projection (FBP). It analyzes image diffusion situation when the target image is the round hole. The results suggest that the effect of algorithm on the reconstructed image for the optical tomography system cannot be ignored.
