Abstract
A new scheme is presented in this paper for multichannel SAR-GMTI via spatial spectral processing. Firstly, calibrated SAR imagery can be obtained using developed Range-Doppler algorithm and image registration method, including magnitude registration and phase compensation. Then, a multi-stage approach is proposed to detect moving target in spatial domain: the first stage implements the clutter suppression through a high-pass filter, while the second stage is to estimate the dominant velocity. Ground moving target indication is carried out in the final velocity image. This method is accurate and computationally efficient and can work well even in heterogeneous environments. Finally, the effectiveness of this proposed method is verified by real airborne SAR data.
