Abstract :
This paper investigates the parameter estimation of harmonics with multiplicative noise. We presented a frequency estimation method based on ESPRIT to estimate the frequency of harmonics with multiplicative noise. A cyclic covariance matrix using a class of cyclic covariance of the harmonics is constructed. By analyzing the eigen structure of cyclic covariance matrix, we extend ESPRIT to estimate the frequency of harmonics with multiplicative noise. The proposed ESPRIT-based frequency estimation method has high-resolution and can directly estimate the frequency without peak searching. The effectiveness of the proposed ESPRIT-based method has been verified by simulation results.
