Abstract :
Green´s function for a point charge located inside the multilayered dielectric medium in cylindrical enclosure is derived in a convenient form. The starting inhomogeneous three-dimensional differential equation in cylindrical coordinates is transformed to a one-dimensional equation by applying the variable separation method and orthogonality relations. Final solution is obtained by using the equivalence with a multistep transmission line.
