Abstract :
The paper presents the impact of some fundamental parameters on the Gaussian nature of absorption spectra of InxGa1-xAs/GaAs and InxGa1-xN/GaN as-grown quantum dots systems having inhomogeneous indium and size distribution. A analytical expression has also been proposed to evaluate the linewidth of the spectra.
