Abstract
The authors studied viscosities of several compounds such as organic molecular liquids, fused glasses, polymers, and insulating oils. The viscosity can be correlated to the free-volume concentration by Doolittle equation. The free volume was never vanishing, and the shear viscosity remained finite.
