Abstract :
A band-limited non-orthogonal waveform superposition scheme for high efficient and reliable data communications is presented. It shows good flexibility in waveform design and lower Eb/N0 than M-QAM technique. The error probability in fading channel is derived, and the scheme can get favorable diversity gain without other assistance. Analysis and numerical results demonstrate that the bandwidth efficiency and BER performance of proposed scheme is higher than orthogonal techniques such as Nyquist signaling and multilevel modulation.
