Abstract :
This paper addresses the issue of the analysis of static bifurcation of power flow. By combining the Lyapunov-Schmidt reduction (LSR) method with singularity theory, this paper derives the Golubitsky-Schaeffer (GS) normal form of generic bifurcation relevant to power flow solutions. The paper also shows the local behavior at the neighborhood of the power limit point and proves that a unique solution curve exists near the power limit point.
