Abstract :
In this paper the effects of the unspecified phase of the EUT-port impedance of line impedance stabilization network (LISN) are discussed. In particular, the influence of unknown phase is extensively analyzed, showing that measurement inaccuracies may occur when the EUT noise source impedance is substantially reactive. To solve the lack of requirements, a simple procedure based on scalar reflection measurements is described. It allows the verification of conformity of the EUT-port LISN impedance taking into account both modulus and phase
