Abstract :
For large scale arrays, full wave optimization is still a challenge and deserved to be researched. In the paper, a method based on the space mapping (SM) procedure for the full wave optimization of array antennas is presented. The approach combines the efficiency of domain decomposition method (DDM) based on the equivalence principle algorithm (EPA) with the mathematical analysis of array factor and the element pattern to reach unprecedentedly high efficiency. Numerical examples demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method.
