Abstract :
A frequency reconfigurable Wilkinson power divider is proposed. Operating frequency of the divider can be continuousiy reconfigured within a wide band. Simple π-shaped circuits with varactors are applied to tune the operating frequency, which is changed by tuning varactors´ voltages. Theoretical analysis show that the π-structures can provide proper impedance and phase shifts within a wide band. Simulation show that the divider has good match and isolation in the reconfigurable band. Operating frequency can be tuned over a bandwidth of 100%. Because of the π-structures, the divider size is greatly reduced to 1/6 of the conventional divider.
