  • Abstract
    This paper describes the design of E/Ka dual-band patch antenna array with shared aperture. The antenna unit is studied firstly, and then the array is formed based on the antenna unit. The antenna array consists of a 2×4 Ka-band array and an 8×16 E-band array, sharing the same radiation aperture. The feeding network combining series-fed and parallel-fed is employed in the array to save space. Experimental model and results are also presented in this paper.
