Abstract :
A MEMS realization of a microelectromagnetic actuator is designed. The device is part of a micro-acousto-magnetic transduction system developed for use in a hearing instrument. The proposed modular implementation of the actuator allows one to easily change the actuator´s magnetic characteristics by depositing additional layers of magnet core segments and their associated turns of excitation winding
