Abstract :
Two continuous microwave signals generated by two different optical beats were incoherently synthesized for the enhancement of the microwave power. The synthesized power of microwave signal generated by two different optical beats was increased by 3 dB compared with that generated by one optical beat. Two microwave signals generated by two different optical beats were also incoherently synthesized spatially using dipole antennas and the microwave power has increased by almost 3 dB. Microwave frequencies of two incoherently synthesized signals generated by two different optical beats agreed with each other with an accuracy of 100 MHz.
