Abstract :
An attractive microwave phase-locked synthesizer is described. It is capable of agile operation over a 1.1 - 2.1GHz range with a fine frequency resolution. It has 1 MHz loop bandwidth and a phase noise lower than -80 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset. The output signal level varies less than 3 dB over the full frequency range
