Abstract :
In this paper, an X-band antenna based on CP asymmetry technique is proposed to achieve good impedance matching and symmetrical broadside radiation patterns, the antenna is composed of two corner truncated patches and a microwave line, all of which are printed on the upper side of the FR4 substrates. The simulation results show that the antenna has an impedance bandwidth (VSWR<;1.5) of about 27.7% (8.5-11GHz), a 3dB axial ratio (AR) of about 24% (8.6-10.8GHz). The gain of the proposed antenna is about 7.5dBi. In addition, the analysis of Single-Fed Circularly Polarized antenna is presented.
