Abstract
Much has been told about the merits of measurements in IT, but incorporating them is a complex and difficult task. This work is an attempt to outline a method to define IT management indicators models based on measurements, by means of three well known techniques: balanced scorecard; goal, question, metrics (GQM); and practical software and system measurement (PSM). Each of the techniques is described, together with the author´s method integrating all three of them
