  • Abstract
In today´s computerized field digital image processing needs the efficient images with less distortions and the main process occurs through it is image fusion. Image Fusion is a procedure of converging of two images or more than two images or mixing of the corresponding and also the basic components of set of comparative bended, inadequate or noised images, to create a resultant image. The prioritic requirement of image fusion for high determination on panchromatic and multispectral images for better vision with high resolution. In our proposed system there is discrete wavelet worked on higher level of spatial resolution with frequency coefficient bands, decomposed the source images with the fusion rule in to high and low levels of coefficient bands. By using enhanced laplacian pyramid technique, mapped the local binarized pixels of images within the region which is pixel by pixel fusion. E-Laplacian technique works on gray-scale images, colored or RGB images and medical images. The final step performed is an inverse DWT with the new band coefficients to construct the fused image. The Laplacian provides the enhanced results of fused images with more accuracy in PSNR, Entropy, SD, SSI, MI, and Average Gradient. In this paper we are comparing our proposed system with the existing methods of image fusion.
