Abstract
A prerequisite for efficient realization of wireless power transfer (WPT) links is that the power is transmitted to the receivers without reflections. Satisfaction of this condition requires the load impedances to be equal to the conjugate image impedances at respective ports of the system. According to the knowledge of the authors, determination of the conjugate image impedances has been feasible so far for the two-port networks only. In this paper, a novel iterative procedure is introduced for computing the conjugate image impedances also for N-port networks. This enables us to accurately solve the wireless power transfer link design problem for one transmitter and multiple receivers case. Numerical and experimental verification of the proposed approach are also presented.
