Abstract :
Technology managers and corporate policy, makers should consider the legal and jurisdictional effects of an interactive Internet Web site during its development. A hasty decision may cause the organization to be deemed "doing business" within a foreign jurisdiction and may subject the business or organization to a foreign court system or regulatory agency. Indeed, the benefits of an interactive Web site will have to be weighed against the cost and expense of submitting the business entity to the jurisdiction of foreign courts and regulatory agencies
