  • Abstract
Today, enterprises must face global competition, reduce business cost, develop new products and supply new services in a rapid way. An enterprise must transform its strategy from efficiency orientation to innovation orientation. It must continuously reconsider, optimize business management, renovate information systems and improve business processes, especially optimize and improve the product development process. Some enterprises have begun to apply workflow analysis to improve business processes with the help of universities and research institutions, such as the reengineering of the registration process, commercial and industrial administration, future-oriented shopping processes on the web, and manufacturing oriented management processes. Workflow Management is the technology that supports re-organization of business processes and information processes, including three major aspects: process modeling; business process reengineering; and workflow, implementation and automation
