Abstract
This paper investigates the problem of target tracking by continuous wave Doppler-only sensor network. The cooperating transponder of Doppler-only sensor network is either working in transponder mode or beacon mode, that results in different kinds of measurements. A preprocessing method is proposed to transform the two kinds of measurements into the same kind of range difference rate measurements. Based on these new measurements, a sliding cubic polynomial model of target trajectory is established by Gauss-Newton´s optimization method. The Jacobian matrix of this model is deduced analytically to improve convergence speed. Simulation results show the efficiency and accuracy of the proposed approach.
