Abstract :
The differential equations of the class E converter are solved in order to get valid results even for a low Q1 circuit layout, which is optimum for high efficiency power conversion. Calculations result in a minimum Q1 which can be compared to design rules in other circuits for a fair comparison of overall efficiencies.
