Abstract :
Tunable ultra-subwavelength (λ0/40) terahertz metamaterials based on multi-layer graphene-dielectric composites is studied. Numerical simulations have shown almost 95% resonance shift when changing Fermi level of graphene from 0.2eV to 0.8eV through electrical bias. Such devices could enable compact tunable THz filters and modulators for sensing and communications.
